I'm a runner. I usually run on my own, which I love. It's my 'me time'. But running in a group is something else entirely. It's a shared passion. And when you run together with people who have the same shared passion for running, something magical happens. You bond.

A community is formed. Suddenly it's not just you running on your own. It's you and your new friends, on the same wave-length as you, laughing at the same things, feeling the runners' high at the same time.And if you haven't run in a group before, you don't experience this feeling. It's unique, it's addictive, it's where real friendships are born. Friendships that last, because you share the same passion.

Inspired by Luxembourg's premier run club, which I had the privilege to run with for some years when I worked there, my aim with TheSundayRun.Club is to create a similar group of regular runners who first and foremost want to run together, to discover the hills and trails (and asphalt) in the Mompiano valley on a Sunday morning. Chatting in English, of course, but Italian too if that's easier ;-)We're new, so we're small, but we're growing and we'd love you to grow with us!

We are based in Mompiano, Brescia, and the runs start from Bar Corner (via schivardi 84, CAP 25123, on the corner of via riccobelli). The nearest metro stop is Europa. There is no bag-drop (yet) so you need to come ready to run, leaving your belongings in your car (there is lots of space to park).Pace:
None really, just be able to run 5kms at around 6'30" to 6'50" per km.Start time:
10:00am sharp - arrive earlier if you want a coffee before the run!Finish time:
45 mins circa per 5km, returning to the meeting point after the first 5km, and then running for another 5km, so you can choose to do 5km and or 10km.Meeting point:
